Shipping & Returns

Please allow at most 2-3 weeks for U.S. orders and up to 3-4 weeks for international orders.

U.S. SHIPPING

All U.S. purchases will be shipped via USPS or FedEx Ground. Please make sure you have listed your correct shipping address before submitting your payment. All paintings with a value greater than $250.00 will be insured and will require a signature. If you prefer not to sign for your shipped painting(s), please send me an email and let me know. I will notify you with a tracking number once your order has shipped. If you need your order by a certain date please contact me to discuss and I will do my best to meet your deadline.

 

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

International buyers will initially only be charged the U.S. shipping/handling rate at checkout. The actual international shipping rate will most likely be higher. After checkout, the actual rate will be determined based on your address. I will email you a separate invoice for the additional international shipping charges which are due before your order can be fulfilled. OR, you can e-mail me directly with your address and postal code before purchasing for an international shipping quote. I use USPS Priority Mail International or FedEx International.

Shipments outside the U.S. do not include charges for any additional handling, VAT, duties, customs charges, taxes or import fees. These charges are the buyer's responsibility and may need to be paid prior to delivery. Please check with your local post office for more information regarding these types of fees. All artwork will be sent as registered and will require a signature. If a shipment to an international destination is refused by the buyer or returned as undeliverable, I will not be able to provide a refund for the abandoned package. Any additional shipping charges required to return it will be the responsibility of the buyer.

 

multiple items in one order

If ordering more than one painting, the shipping amount at checkout will most likely be higher than the actual shipping amount. Please contact me before ordering multiple items for an accurate shipping cost. If you prefer to place your order before contacting me and the shipping cost is less than the amount charged, I will notify you and a refund will be issued.

 

RETURNS

Every order, commission, and sale is handled with extreme care and as much clarity as possible. My goal is for you to be completely happy with your purchase! Please take the time to read descriptions carefully and check colors on multiple screens if you are concerned about color variations. Please get in touch with me directly via the contact form if you have any questions about any of the details of the artwork you are purchasing. I am happy to send additional photos and/or color swatches to make sure the colors will work in your space. If you would like to send me a photo of the room or wall where the painting will be hung, I am able to "virtually" place the painting in your room or on your wall photo to give you a better idea of how the painting will look in your space. Because of this, all sales are final unless we have discussed your concerns in advance. 

 

DAMAGES

Please inspect your painting as soon as it arrives. Leaving the painting in it's packaging for any length of time after you receive it can cause damage. Paintings should not be stored in extreme temperatures, between 60-80 degrees Fahrenheit is ideal. In the unlikely case of damage during transit, please contact me within 48 hours. Please take a digital photo of the damaged painting and packaging and email it to monica@monicajanesfineart.com to discuss resolution. I will do everything possible to rectify the situation. Thank you for your interest in my work!
